There is significant research into chiropractic practice. I mean years ago they just used massage tables that didn't have audibly satisfying ka-chunks built in to trick people into think it was doing something.The voice tempo and vocabulary have homogenized into a soothing mix of sounding vaguely knowledgeable and upbeat at the same time. It's fascinating and really hosed up

I remember a goon said that in order for chiropractors to do the things they claimed they could do in their ads they would need to apply enough force to the spine to outright shatter it. That pretty much removed the last little bit of doubt in my mind and confirmed that any positive results are just placebo

chiropractic is actually quite useful because whenever you meet someone that raves about how great their chiropractor is you immediately know that the person is a complete gullible retard and their opinions should not be taken seriously. see also: naturopathy, homeopathy, any other pseudoscience really

I went to a chiropractor for a couple months and the guy was creepy. he kept giving me free sessions and I was like okay whatevs until one day outside the room I heard him and one of the lady assistants arguing about why he wasn't charging me. I stopped going after that. I got a generic birthday card from them a few months later but he wasn't listed or pictured so I'm assuming he got fired or left. grody.
