I don't know what I consider Sin City to be, but action isn't it. Shoot em up loving rules though.

Aliens, Predator, Dredd, Starship Troopers, Shoot Em Up, Escape From New York, these are all excellent action movies but T2 reigns supreme.

Real stuntwork, amazing V8 cars, lord Humungus, the music, cinematography... and yeah some of the best
action scenes ever filmed.

T2 is in a class of its own. Robocop, Dredd, and Heat have been mentioned, but I'd like to add Payback as another movie to add to the second place lineup.

While Die Hard is good, it feels too much like "Home Alone" with all the cheezy gimmicks and stuff. I keep expecting McLean to throw some paint cans or make a door knob really hot when blonde terrorist guy enters a room.
