Mills

There's no point in going overboard with the planning. I gave it about 5 minutes thought and submitted something!

Jump King

Mills
Jun 13, 2003

You probably just want to build something 'random' like Juanito or you want to build something to counter my program (assuming my program isn't 'random'). If you want to do the former, it's simple and we'll be 50/50 for a winner and good luck to us. If you want to do something like the latter, think about what strategy I might have taken and think about how you can beat it.

Mills
Jun 13, 2003

The first round in particular is a 'crap shoot' as far as strategy is concerned, unless you think you can get inside my head and work out what I would have programmed. Later rounds are different (assuming I don't modify the program) since you then have an ability to predict what I might have submitted (and may or may not have changed).

Yeah I leaned back and moved my head around. I was surprised I got perfect since staring at the screen was hurting my eyes so I was trying to finish quickly.

I also sorted it by the size of the dark patch I saw in each colour but I'm not sure if that was a real thing or my imagination.
