I've been running around on Dath and Yavin IV the last couple of days and nothing can hit me. I was trying to die so I could take the cloner express to save time. Are the mobs bugged? Does /activateclone not work?

Turns out my memory is even more shaky than I thought: You have to be incapped to use /activateclone However, nothing on either planet can hit me. Tried several times. My defenses aren't anything stellar. Just Master Pistoleer, Master TK, and the dirty fighting line. Don't know what was up.

It's just that they're the exception, not the rule. Dath especially. Find a high level night sister (they are hard to find). But yeah that's what I was complaining about last night. I can be hit by ranged attacks rarely. But I did about 10 sharnaff lair missions without buffs - standard melee aoe the lair tactic - and I never got touched.

I had a similar experience on Dath with the nightsisters though (elders can probably gently caress you up still). Made it to the bottom of the Forced Labor Camp PoI and never felt at risk with just Mswords and buffs/composite. I did get dizzy/kd'd by the last person but they still did very little damage while I was on the ground. I didn't see very many force powers either(only noticed the last one shocking me at all) so there could be an issue.

There's a decent spawn of endorian wooly hide for making grinder composite suits. If anyone wants to collect a bunch on their ranger it would help go towards pumping out composite mini suits for everyone. It can be harvested from the gurrecks or manitrigues, with a solo group the gurreck missions can be pulled out from the smuggler outpost for around 9-12k. edit: buff bois

It just dropped off a janta at the mining outpost while I was collecting hides for some mando armor pieces. I also just had a mando belt and leg piece get consumed by the server while crafting them, losing the schematics and resources for both.  also I put some mando on gamer girl and sat in the cantina, people are desperate for mando and I'm getting lots of messages like this:

Those need to be saved for PvP. If anyone uses those for PvE, they deserve a shot in the nuts. FYI, anyone going Jedi: Don't do the Rebel theme park. Go Imperial for a while and do the Imperial on. And especially don't do any of the theme parks if the server is having issues. I could have hurt someone on Tuesday with the 5 minute roll backs. It made a 2 hour (at most) adventure into an all day one. And let me tell you about the Rebel theme park. Hope you like hills. And escort missions. And 10-12 hours of it. Speaking of escort missions... Tip of the day: Don't rely on the the NPC to make it back by themselves even though the posts on the bloodfin forums by Roses says you can. Just do yourself a favor, store your bike, and bring them back on foot. 2nd Tip of the day: Get scout/terrain negotiation for any of the theme parks for the specific purpose of escort missions. e: and speaking of Jedi.. I heard last night the Padawan robe doesn't work?

Go forward until they get about 100m away, hold shift until they get closer. It's much less maddening because the bike has a massively better terrain negotiation ability unless you can get explore 4. So save yourself the 29 skill points and harvest time and just use your bike. If you want to just auto-run brainlessly without paying attention, just hold shift the entire time.

And with all that you may as well simply hop off your bike and go on foot. You may save a minute or two doing it your way but it's more of a pain in the rear end than it needs to be. Considering it takes all of about 10 minutes to get skills in this game, investing in terrain negotiation would pay dividends over the course of 15 hours of theme parks. Get it, use it, drop it when done. The NPCs aren't all that affected by terrain; some, but not much.

Tuesday was bad because of the Halloween patch (see a previous post by Lev about - something about a schematic). Wednesday, much less so. You could get in a solid couple hours before it would crash and be down/restart for 20 minutes or so.

So I've finally got Uggo to mdoc and he'll be buff botting in the med center. I'm buying buffs because  so tip if you can and I'll try to keep him stocked and running. Smugly is also a master smuggler now so if you need slicing let me know. It'll be nice when I can just play my combat character instead of having to worry about xp!

As far as I can tell, that's all droids are useful for at the moment. None of the droid modules seem to be working, and the latest on the swgemu forums is that all droids can do is follow you around. I haven't bothered tested extensively yet though, so hopefully Levarris will tell me I'm wrong.

Most of the time you'll want to get back in a big group for missions. But if you're out in a cave or just grinding in the wild, you can pull the droid and get the 4x XP
