its a southland accent and no i dont have one although i do go out of my way to make sure when i say certain words i prnounce the r correctly (eg i try not to say "rea" if im saying "rare") but thats a conscious pronounciation not southaland accent

Update: Got to watch 45 minutes of videos of how to be an Antarctican, then got all my gear. Current status is that I'll be on a C-17 (woo!) flight out tomorrow at 10pm. The flight today got cancelled so they're trying to run two tomorrow.
