To be as absolutely clear and honest as possible, I'll state that in an ideal friendship we'd have detailed discussions about LOST, Twin Peaks, anything David Lynch, Evangelion, creating stories that challenge and deconstruct the otherwise bland mainstream entertainment, Million Dollar Extreme, Mega64, politics, liberalism, socialism, Feminism, making fun of MRAs and Republicans, alcohol, tobacco, asexuality, anti-humor, mental illness and probably plenty of other topics I can't think of right now. But I don't know anyone who I could say anything about this too. I think it might be difficult to find like minded people because there are not people like me. I feel that the only way to enjoy myself and to get my "fix" is to read about whatever topic I want and think about it with myself. There's nothing out there for me and I'm all alone. Sure, I like my alone time, but what do I do if I change my mind?

Sure, I like my alone time, but what do I do if I change my mind? I'm pretty friendly with the people I work with (retail big box type store), but not actually people I'd hang out with. They're okay, but the only thing I can talk about with them are casual video game stuff, sports(I'm not a sports fan), and dumb ghetto poo poo I don't understand on instantgram or whatever the gently caress. I don't think I'm superior to them or anything, I just don't think I have anything much in common with them.

But I don't socialize on the internet. I mostly use it to watch tv shows or youtube videos or read discussions on whatever specific topic I'm curious about, but not participating.

I know with Netflix and video games its pretty common for people my age to be a homebody. But one thing I've noticed is its very common for people to be texting people on a cell phone CONSTANTLY. It seems something that just apart of normal life and taken for granted and something I'm just not apart of. I kind of want to know why.

Give me a walkthrough of your day and who you interact with. well, probably on this Monday or so, I'll be running into a lot of co-workers and inevitably it'll turn to small talk. basically I'll act like I had a bunch of interesting conversations and funny moments with friends over the weekend, but in my head I'll be thinking about how I really just refreshed a bunch of gbs threads and drive-by shitposted in them until I was no longer too wired to sleep. They won't be able to empirically falsify anything I say because I'm very secretive about the specifics of my personal life. I might even leave a video game open on steam all weekend so it looks like I was playing the new borderlands mod. (Don't lie about having a gf or bf if you are a virgin though, very easy to get tripped up on minor sensory details that any sexual being should be able to recall easily...) If you both agree on how funny/interesting all your anecdotes are, then they'll respect you more, and that's a feeling called friendship if it goes both ways once it's in motion, they'll help you out of a rough spot or maybe just encourage you when you're feeling down. Some day, if you can keep doing it right, you'll find the coolest friend you ever had, one thing will lead to another and itll get physically intimate! that would be cool too. That's what it's like to be normal and have normal feelings about other people

What are your thoughts re: pretending to be a virgin for moral reasons (not Christianity though because yuck) and having a gf or bf who lives too far away to see often? Bonus: sometimes you can take days off of work to "see your gf/bf" but really just sleep in.
