hukhukhuk, I took the liberty of taking Pilot (personal) as an elite advance for 400 xp, since I never seem to get a hold of you on #acolyte. Also, is the stuff from DH Lathe worlds (integrated weapons and the jump pack) cool with you?

You said there was psyker stuff I could take but so far none of the stuff I've read really fits the character. I mean, what does that acolyte of Abraxas thing even do? e: Also, am I still going to have to spend 1500 xp on unarmed talents to use those fistulas? Coming from the dirtiest hab-block of the Diris System's Hive Primaris, the man who would become SVK had a way with words, women, and weapons that soon became infamous. An easy life of crime soon spiraled out of control, much like his hijacked airlimo with its slaughtered noble owners slowly cooling in the back, as Heavy Bolter rounds ripped the vehicle apart. Surviving the crash, the Adeptus Arbites soon took this hardcore criminal in for processing. Beaten and bloodied, SVK was able to parley his vast vocabulary into whipping the inhabitants of the Arbites jail cells into a frenzied rage, piercing the throat of a heavily-armored Judge with a shank and bending the man's exquisitely polished golden Grapplehawk to his will. Even this valiant effort would have been in vain if the Arbites were not already busy helping put down major hive-riots. In the confusion, he managed to escape to a ship headed out of the system. Nobody knows just where he learned to pilot a voidship, but his skills have never been in doubt during his service to the Jones Dynasty, personally piloting their escape shuttle free of the hijacked starship's hanger and evading its furious turret fire. Too bad about the Rogue Trader themselves though, who perished in the mutiny. Has picked up the habit from Bolo of wearing a mask while 'doing business'. code:

Okay, huk^3 said that we get 3 Acquisitions each at 70 PF... And we can burn it, it's our money, not the Inquisition's. Though I'd prefer to avoid that. Not sure how much more personal kit we need to be monstrous badasses, but I think we should pick up some gear for our gang we're putting together in the very near future. Like a Regiment's worth of Scourge-pattern Bolters? Or anything else relatively cheap and nasty we can buy a lot of that we aren't likely to loot from our enemies in the near future? I also noticed none of us are using Plasma weapons, so, the Ulumeathi Plasma Syphon might be a great way to screw with those rich House Dans-Monde bitches if/when they pull Plasmas out on us. Someone should try and grab 5 of them for the party. KlavoHunter fucked around with this message at 10:31 on Nov 8, 2014 |

I got inspired, this is mostly just to organize what we have so far as I understand it. Diris 1st Inquisitorial Assault Saints The Ordo-Gangstas Monty: My Lord Captain, we have assembled for your pleasure the men and women of our new model army, the Diris 1st Mechanized Regiment of Loyalists. Although, the men have christened themselves the "Ordo-Ganstas," which boggles me a bit but it seems to keep up morale and I will make sure there are no lapses in discipline. We are no mere "gang." One thousand power-armored figures stand at attention, bolters held across their chests. Each squad stands in front of their transport, which despite the Sergeant-Captain's protests had been painted in the colors of the regiment rather than sensible urban camo. -------- So far we have: x1000 Professional Soldiers - Skill (40) - Morale (81) -Light Power Armor w/ Advanced Helmet Systems (Enhanced Senses (Sight), inbuilt Vox Caster) -Best Quality Refractor Field -Best Quality Photovisor (Photonflash grenades are ineffective, dark vision) -Photon Flash Grenades -Scourge Pattern Bolter -Good Quality Chainsword -Frenzone/Cold Fire Dispensers -Stimm Injectors -Leatherwort x100 Razorbacks (It is 6 space marines, so I think 10 normal dudes can fit) -x30 TL-Lascannon -x30 TL-Heavy Bolter -x35 Lascannon+TL Plasma Gun -x5 Damocles Command Vehicles (Company Commander Vehicle) -Pintle Mounted Storm Bolter -Smoke Launchers (What kind of smoke - yet to be determined) -Dozer-blades (reinforced grill) -Additional Armor Plates [21:22] <professorcurly> .roll 1d10 moraleequipmentbonus [21:22] <imouto> professorcurly: morale: 1 (1d10=1) -------- x10 Soldiers + Razorback = Squad x4 Squads = Platoon x5 Platoons = Company x5 Companies = The Regiment Also we have 5k Combat Servitors - x500 crowd control (webber + electro-flail) x1000 close assault (chain axe +flamer) x1500 anti-armour (missile launcher + melta-gun) x2000 heavy fire support (heavy bolter + plasma gun) ProfessorCurly fucked around with this message at 03:24 on Nov 10, 2014 |

Jason King The navigator gene is a rare and noble mutation, a sign of the Emperor's compassion for His people who, without the sight of the third eye, would be lost within the vast emptiness of space. It is for this reason navigators are so highly lauded, and why they are so rare and wield so much power. Few people wish to anger the Navis Nobilis, for to be on their sour side is to be blind in one's travels. It is for this reason Project Cyclops was initiated. Originally crafted by a man driven mad by the ministrations of the Changer of Ways, the project was intended to create an implantable mass of genetic material akin to the geneseed of the Astartes, turning any human into a being capable of casting their gaze into the warp. Through the assistance of traitor astartes, renegade navigators, and an overpopulated prison planet, the scientist was able to dedicate a large portion of his life to his research. Finally, after countless years, he had done it. He had created what seemed to be a navigator's geneseed within one of his many test subjects. Withdrawing it carefully, he tested it the only way he knew how; implanting it in the chest of one of the assorted prisoners, and standing back to watch the results. That prisoner was Jason King, a contract killer specializing in the elimination of psykers and all around thug, a life that would ultimately not be mourned if the process were successful. And if it were, then it was a life not worth mourning once the seed was harvested. Luckily for the scientist, the process was successful. Jason's body twisted and arched as mutations wracked him as the very stuff of the warp washed over his body, piercing through his forehead and spilling into reality. But before the astartes who had for years acted as the scientist's guard and executioner could put the experiment to an end, Jason twisted his head around and opened his third eye, washing over the marine and his brilliant friend. The raw warp energy consumed them, turning them to ash, and Jason slumped against the table with a groan. He didn't know what had just happened, or what he had just done, but it had tired him. Much later, after escaping from the lab, King used his new found abilities to escape his prison, to make his way back to his old gang. With his new powers, he found it much, much easier to put an end to the psykers he had always hated, turning the warp against them. Before long, he had the itch to get more out of life, to make his big score. Who knows? Maybe he'll find it. Name: Jason King Divination: Your mother is a whore. Rolls for Artifact armor on the table (You were only supposed to specify the broad type of gear, as in just armor, for the 1st artifact but the dice chose to give you Light Power Armor anyway, so blessed be the Emperor) 10 > 3 > 10 > 9 > 7 > 6 Power Armor > Light Power Armor > Reinforced > Cursed > Prideful > Resplendent Relic Light Power Armor 8 (12) All 40kg Reinforced: +2 against I Prideful: Gain 4 armor on all locations until it is first penetrated, then test WP, on success, the armor uses regular values, and on a failure armor becomes 0 and gain Unnatural Speed x2 for the remainder of combat Resplendent: Gain +5 to Charm and Intimidate -30 to conceal Random Artifact: 7 > 3 > 9 > 7 > 1 Random Gear > Cybernetic of GM's Choice > Cursed > Prideful > Surly Relic Voidskin allows the wearer to survive without damage up to 2d10+10 extra rounds while exposed to hard vacuum and acts as a survival suit granting +20 to any Toughness tests involving extreme environments. Prideful: +30 on any test involving this item but may never be reattempted via fate Surly: Gain 2 Initiative but the item shuts down for a turn when a 96+ is rolled Yes, this means you can basically breathe toxic fumes forever at +50 to the test, just don't fail or your skin will turn off. As an intermission objective, I'd like to start working on modifying whatever ships are in-system to serve as combat vessels. I'll take Trade (Shipwright), and Peer (Imperial Navy) and anything else I need to do get this started. I imagine we won't be finished right away, but we'll need them for invading the other planets. Unless everyone really really really hates RT space combat and wants to have absolutely nothing to do with it ever. Edit: [02:10] <hukhukhuk> hrm, for your stealing of ship hulls, do command to steal hulls outta some sorta hangar in an assault with the beez, roll pilot to duel navy boys for spare parts (being a peer means they take your challenge seriously) and roll trade shipwright to play lego https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tYc7QKYLbE [00:54] <imouto> Klavo: Shipjacking TN70: 26 (1d100=26) [00:57] <imouto> Klavo: Dogfight TN 85: 86 (1d100=86) [00:57] <imouto> Klavo: Dogfight TN 85 reroll: 79 (1d100=79) [01:00] <imouto> Klavo: Trade (Shipwright) TN44: 67 (1d100=67) [01:01] <imouto> hukhukhuk: tn44: 42 (1d100=42) [01:02] <hukhukhuk> this contract is sealed KlavoHunter fucked around with this message at 08:04 on Jan 22, 2015 |
