If this has already been ripped then great, it saves me the trouble. But there seems to be some confusion, especially since the sequel recycles a lot of footage from the original, as to which one is available and which one isn't. The tape is also in excellent shape so it may provide a better transfer than is currently available.

Super Hornio Brothers 2 has been available on torrents for years. Super Hornio Brothers 1 has not thus far been put on the internet, and assuming the box art's correct, that's what you have. #2, the one available on torrents, opens thus: There's a caption saying 'SCENES FROM PART 1'. The first of said scenes is the Hornio Brothers doing some rad 90s hacking, then there's a cheap CGI shot and they appear in a black void which is 'inside the black space that exists when a computer monitor's not on'. They meet a lady in BDSM gear and it cuts to her blowing Ron Jeremy. It ends with a joke about 'the writer ran out of ideas and had us gently caress each other at random', then a guy with long hair humps a computer and somehow this solves everything and the Hornio Bros. are back in the real world explaining their victory to Princess Peach. You want to run VHS through a time base corrector if you want to avoid drop outs and lost frames. Most computer cards don't have a TBC - the most common place you find them are in DVD recorders. If you don't know anyone with a professional set up, then it's really the best way to get a decent stable copy.

I got two things to say here, other than excellent find. 1) CG claims to have both I and II ripped, in both "VHSrip" and a VHS to DVD format. I guess you'd have to compare those against the footage on your tape to be sure, but I'm fairly sure this has already been ripped. Maybe yours is in better shape or something though, who knows. 2) Scan the box art in high resolution please. If you do nothing else I'd like to see that happen. The logo is loving hilarious (pinballs??) and I'd like to see it all over the internet giant sized. Maybe someone could make a vector of it even.

I spent roughly $10 on a cheap Ebay USB capture device, and another $10 on a rather nice Sony SLV-N900 I found at a thrift store. No doubt there are more professional set-ups, but I find the created video quality isn't much worse than the VHS was to begin with.
