Dems do the same thing. I look at which issues are important to me and I vote accordingly. I don't get why liberals get so upset just because I don't share their views. Annoying.

I happen to have many friends with different political views, but I'm able to rise above the pettiness and have learned quite a bit. You're just a one trick pony troll. If you're genuinely worried, why not start a discussion instead of yelling out insults like a stupid sperglord?

If you care about protecting the integrity of the free market (as opposed to socialism), vote Republican.

Look at the welfare program for example. It comes down to mandatory charity and it goes against everything that free market stands for. It's not about being callous. I still donate to homeless charities. It's about making a stand against the government forcing you to pay for other people.

Yeah, basically summed up why I'm against mandatory charity. I feel that government's primary order of business is to maintain order, not charity.

In my opinion, poor and unfed diseased people should be encouraged to find jobs and work, not be given out free meals. Since this is mostly a matter of opinion, I don't think you're an awful person or whatever, just someone with different values.

But social security isn't about who deserves help or not.

Also: food stamps are much cheaper than prison cells.

Absolutely see where you're coming from. I disagree with some fundamental points, but I'll just keep my opinions to myself especially since OP clearly wants a democratic circlejerk.
