Say what? No. Absolutely not. This is just an ignorant thing to do. There's no need to demonize people because they don't share your political views. Back off.

they say they are the economic responsibility party and then just give all the money to their friends (aka cronyism) and not that the Dems don't but the Dems at least aren't backwards on almost every social issue

they suck in other words

Dems do the same thing. I look at which issues are important to me and I vote accordingly. I don't get why liberals get so upset just because I don't share their views. Annoying.

Ok, so I'm a selfish piece of poo poo for practicing my right to vote. Good job.

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

No he's right. In addition to selfish pieces of poo poo voting Republican, there are also millions of people who are just stupid and gullible. We shouldn't demonize them. They can't really help it.

The funny thing is all the hippies who get upset are just as bad as the idiotic tea party people who get mad.

Most people are mature enough to recognize that democratic process works. Even if people don't share your views, numbers don't lie.

I happen to have many friends with different political views, but I'm able to rise above the pettiness and have learned quite a bit. You're just a one trick pony troll. If you're genuinely worried, why not start a discussion instead of yelling out insults like a stupid sperglord?

Instead of opting for dialogue, you just stick to insults. Yeah dude. That'll sway the voters.

Idiot.

Don't you mean old trick? Democratic party isn't immune from scandal. Far from it. It's all politicians.

Just figure out which policies are important to you and vote accordingly. Even if we disagree, there is absolutely no reason to start hurling insults at the opposing party.

Absolutely agreed with the trickle down policy.

Believe it or not, even Republicans disagree with Republicans! It's just a lesser of two evil situation. Hence why I went for the Obama ticket. IDK what the gently caress they were thinking with the Palin route. Seriously?

i dont vote because i rely on the free market to solve all our problems.
If you care about protecting the integrity of the free market (as opposed to socialism), vote Republican.

Look at the welfare program for example. It comes down to mandatory charity and it goes against everything that free market stands for. It's not about being callous. I still donate to homeless charities. It's about making a stand against the government forcing you to pay for other people.

The government forces you to engage in mandatory charity because the free market is about profit, not social welfare. Taking care of the poor is good for public, because poor unfed diseased destitute people are a huge drag on the economy, public health, etc., and history has proven again and again that neither profit-oriented business nor private charity can effectively handle the problem.
Yeah, basically summed up why I'm against mandatory charity. I feel that government's primary order of business is to maintain order, not charity.

In my opinion, poor and unfed diseased people should be encouraged to find jobs and work, not be given out free meals. Since this is mostly a matter of opinion, I don't think you're an awful person or whatever, just someone with different values.

That doesn't work, though. It turns out that the only form of "encouragement" that assures full employment is slavery.

Failing that, then, pragmatically, the entire society benefits if we support the poor and indigent at some basic level of human dignity, even if many of them are lazy cheaters.

Republicans tend to be obsessed with the idea that there are undeserving people getting their taxpayer dollars. They ignore the fact that the entire country generally, and individual Republicans specifically, are worse off by allowing an impoverished underclass to fester, than they are by paying some more taxes and giving money to people (some of whom don't "deserve" it) to keep them from becoming any of: violent criminals, diseased homeless, rioting mobs, or (in extreme cases) religiously fanatical terrorists.

I personally think that the majority of people who rely on government assistance are genuinely doing their best and not trying to cheat the system, but I understand that a decades-long relentless propaganda machine exists to convince people otherwise and so I don't blame folks for not knowing that.

But social security isn't about who deserves help or not.

Also: food stamps are much cheaper than prison cells.

Absolutely see where you're coming from. I disagree with some fundamental points, but I'll just keep my opinions to myself especially since OP clearly wants a democratic circlejerk.
