So now that Gio B is officially out for sunday, it's a no brainer to start Jeremy Hill (vs. JAX) over Brandon Oliver (@MIA) right? Not a PPR league

Keenan Allen for Golden Tate is an iffy trade, right? I've got good depth at WR if Marshall ever starts producing (Brown is carrying the group) but I'm worried about the drop off with Megatron coming back.

I wouldn't. Even with Megatron coming back Tate is having a great year and looks to have built a pretty good connection with Stafford. Keenan Allen has been super disappointing this year.

I think I would. Oliver's kind of petered out.

My turn...Hill or Mckinnon? Really want to go hill but everyone is talking up this Jags defense. Mckinnon plays the Redskins...

I would easily pick Edelman, however I also own LaFell and think he's the better start this week. I am open to both, but that seems like a bad idea. (FantasyPros disagrees with me about that though)

Would still like some advice if possible on this. Bold is my current pick.

If only DPI counted as receiving yards Torrey Smith would be a lock.

The order you have them in is about where my confidence in each would be, Allen being the best.

Hill v. JAC

Pretty torn here, as both Morris and Kelce have choice matchups, but thinking that Hill is the right play.

Jeremy Hill v. Jac
Ronnie Hillman v. Pats
Sims v. Browns (lol IR but on the other hand, Browns...)
Wallace v. Chargers

I'm leaning Hillman, but Hill might have a great week...

I'd start Hill over Hillman. With Gio out they should have similar workloads, but stomping on Jacksonville is likely a better matchcup for a running back than playing passball against Peyton Manning.

I don't think Peyton Manning does much tackling for Denver's D. Or the Pats D, either. So I'm confused about what you mean there?

These are all high-variance options.

Crabs is good but SF spreads the ball around and on any given week it's a tossup who is going to get the most targets. He's WR1 but really Boldin and VDavis both have the potential to get the most targets in any given game. And SF's also perfectly willing to send the ball to Johnson and Lloyd.

Donnell had one big game against a D that apparently forgot he existed for three endzone plays in a row, but looking at the full season, he's all over the place. So I think he has some upside (12 or 15 is completely possible), but there's a good chance he gets you 1 point.

And LaFell is also really really swingy. He could get you 3, or 30.

Given all that: I'd look at matchups, and say Crabs might be up against the weakest defense, but LaFell is in the best situation for his team to be way behind and needing to go very pass-heavy to try and catch up. On the other hand, Indianapolis has never put up fewer than 27 points this season, and when their opponent scores at all, they score at least 30. So Donnell is likely to also be in a situation where the team needs touchdowns to win.

All told I think nobody has advice for you because it's a really really close thing. Go with your gut.

Welp, I had to wait for a trade to clear on Thursday so I could pick up a defense, and now here's the crap that's left over that I am choosing from:

Chargers @ Mia
Ravens @ Pit
Colts @ NYG
Rams @ SF

Right now I'm thinking Chargers, but I might roll the dice on the Ravens, who are ranked highest out of these on a lot of D/ST lists despite the matchup. 12 points against Pittsburgh when they played week 2. Any thoughts on these terrible, terrible options?

How good are your starting RBs that these are your flex options?

I think Hillman has a higher floor in yardage but Hill has more TD probability.

Vincent Jackson @ Cleveland
DeSean Jackson @ Minnesota
Terrance Williams vs. Arizona

DJax is a must start. I'm waffling a bit on the other three. VJax has been pretty mediocre and Randle has a great matchup, I think. Williams, despite being "touchdown dependent" has put up shockingly consistent numbers.

Oh I suppose Hillman does play for Denver and not New England. Either way, I expect NE - Den to be a shootout, which would decrease RB value.

The browns defense is bad, if Vjax doesn't do anything this week, he won't all season. I just feel he's due.

Need a flex out of this motley crew:

Kelce vs NYJ
Rainey @ Cle
Sims @ Cle

I know someone is gonna get points out of the TB backfield, but it will certainly be the guy I don't start. Part of me wants to just play Kelce since its such a good matchup vs the Jets and see how the carries play out in TB.

I think Rainey is the safest play. For at least this week, I bet he'll out touch Sims. Hard to see TB giving the majority of the work to a rookie playing in his first ever NFL game who also is coming off an injury. Kelce hasn't been very consistent and pretty much requires a TD to have a decent fantasy week.
