I think all sea shanties are about death, so you're probably right. Also, are skills usable if you're using the wrong weapon? Can Angus use Helmsplitter with a club, for example?

My Skies of Arcadia is probably sitting in the Wii I have in the corner. Still worked when I played it a couple years ago. In other news, I just found out the quick save feature in DQ8 3DS is a permanent save instead of the usual temporary one. It's exactly the same as regular saving except you only get one slot and you don't have to run for a priest. Probably would have made grinding the casino a lot easier if I'd known.
