Some cops are good, some cops are bad, but that fucker who gave me a ticket for going like 2 MPH above the speed limit on the highway is the worst Seriously, traffic cops are probably the worst kind of cop, just because it's their job to be pedantic

Never had any kind of serious run-in with police here in Eurotopia, either negative nor positive. Those I have interacted with have been chill though. FWIW, I have a friend who desperately wanted to be a cop for years and he was kind of an authoritarian rear end in a top hat at times, had a libertarian MRA phase and everything. But he's mellowed out now. Now he's a cool army guy that blows stuff up and gets paid for it. Very naice. American cops, however, sound lethal if you're poor, black, mentally ill, or just absent-minded.

A couple months ago I was driving up I-390 in New York and this dude in a mustang zipped by me going like 90 and a state trooper coming the other way crossed the grassy median and drove up behind him, and tailgated the dude for like a mile and a half before pulling him over. Was pretty entertaining to watch; I supposed the driver thought he was in the clear when really the cop was probably just running his plate.Arri posted:Yes thank you for your kindness, racist piece of poo poo. I was drinking beer with a friend at an Alameda beach and a cop on an atv pulled over and told us there's a law saying you can't, he was super apologetic and friendly, we just packed the booze and left it on our car. He also waved at us when he was going back :3

Once in Madrid a friend of mine was walking down the street smoking a jay. A cop saw him and told him to put it away. My friend put it out and the cop hosed off and didn't fine him or anything. A madrid cop clearly saw me drinking a can of beer outside Pacha and didn't do poo poo. Now I live in Texas and can't get away with that anymore.

I did a burnout / skid onto a main road because I was a loving idiot kid invincible driver and the cop let me go because she could tell I was a dumb kid doing dumb poo poo. She gave me a stern lecture and poo poo but the situation could have been really bad for me losing my license and loving up my poo poo. Thank you nice lady cop. I crashed that car like a year later doing dumb poo poo and nearly killed myself. I am a much better driver now I swear. I find the ratio of nice to poo poo cops is about 50/50. Kind of like people in general.

I was speeding and got pulled over and the cop wanted my license and I gave it to him and he was all "what are you doing in this state because your license is for another state" and I said "i'm in the military and that's my old driver's license" and he was all "oh really well let me see your military ID" and I gave it to him and then he gave both back to me and said "you were driving ten over; cut it out and get home safe okay" and I was all "yes sir" and the TWIST ENDING IS we were both white so uh that's my cop story.

You may notice if you go to Plaza Dosde on a Saturday night that cops force everybody out as a show of non-uselessness maybe once every two-three hours and then within minutes people go back. What you witnessed was the famous botellón.

Like the time a cop did a thing any normal person with means and opportunity would do or the time i benefited from their corruption when they let me go for some sort of infringement, boy i was gratefull for that!
