That and the "nativity play cancelled because it offends Muslims" stories that have been passed around since I was a kid and are always just accepted as true. Eventually you just give up on trying to tell people that those stories are deliberately misleading and just join in the absurdity. Did you know that 95% of all foreigners live in the UK? Its true. And you can't even say that you're English now without being arrested and thrown in jail.

The Telegraph actually ran a piece a couple of weeks ago with the headline 'Apparently, being 'too English' is now a crime'... because a school was mildly criticised by Ofsted for failing to provide enough opportunities to learn about other cultures.
