Transported in serious condition after being revived following the impact, the boy was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit of Dunkirk. His prognosis was then committed. On Sunday afternoon, about 400 people, including many children, gathered at the entrance to the arena to lay flowers and to collect. The property is the standards of the French Ice Hockey Federation for the level of competition Dunkirk, said Patrice Vergriete, Mayor of Dunkirk, which confirms Eric Ropert, CEO of FFHG. "There is the Plexiglas behind the goal. On the sides, there is the rails , "he has said. An investigation was opened by the prosecutor of Dunkirk to determine the exact circumstances of the accident. Sounds like he was brought back at first, no other details from what I can tell.

Ollie Jokinen has the most disgusting looking hair since Michael Handzus back when he was on the Flyers with that mop on his head. Handzus in turn was the heir to Mike Ricci's revolting hair legacy. There must always be a gross looking NHLer with a mullet. I'm glad Ollie is carrying on the tradition.

All Montreal's players giving the traditional post-blowout comments of "gotta forget it and move on", which is fully to be expected regardless of how they feel, but I hope they don't just forget it and write it off as a night where ~nothing could go their way~. They lead the league in penalties taken, their possession was abysmal tonight and has been in all their recent games, the coach is refusing to ice their best lineup and the line blender is actively hurting them as it almost always does. Their hot start is a total paper tiger, but I hope the brains of the operation pretend they're where they deserve to be in the standings and make some serious changes. If our "bad start" is us leading the league, hey awesome. But if our team doesn't realize they're flying by the seat of their pants we're gonna crash and burn real loving hard.

Nashville now 7-2-2 Also, Forsberg has 11 points in 11 games and is somehow +13. Leads all rookies in scoring. It's nice having top line players. 2 more points for Neal. 9 points in his last 7 games. (7 goals) Ribeiro also doing well with 9 in his last 8.

Jason Labarbera won his third game in as many nights all thanks to the team in front of him. He's still garbage. John Gibson's injury shouldn't be a big deal and Andersen is day-to-day. Hopefully one or both is healthy in time for a home tilt against the Isles on Wednesday.
