Joementum, whats your take on the impact of charter and voucher proposals upon African-American perception of Republicans?

I really don't think there's a senator that's a bigger fuckwad than Rand Paul. It's the wordsmithing he does gives the 'illusion' that he's not a terrible person but no he really is. Well that and he's pretty good at being the stereotypical libertarian ideas guy.

I'm hoping his political career flames out real quick once kentucky voters notice that he doesn't even do a good job of funneling pork to us, the way McConnell does. Ultimately, constituencies expect their Senators to do things for them, not to make a big ideological point of doing the exact opposite while using the position as a prestigious platform from which to eyeball the Presidency.

Thanks to the fella who posted the vote411 site- it gave me a shortcut to my bi-yearly pasttime of looking up all the crazy independent candidates. Can I post crazy here? I'm going to post crazy here. From the 441 site's questions, on the Florida gubernatorial race- "So far Florida has refused to accept $51 billion in federal funds that would extend affordable health care to working class citizens. Would you support the acceptance of these funds?" Charles Frederick Tolbert posted:Closing IRS and passing of HR25, the fair tax law, all individuals whether illegal, tourist, or those who are paid in cash, will pay federal taxes. read article http://www.cfabamerica.com/h-r-25-fair-tax-act-of-2011 A 1% sales tax should go to Medicaid Federal funds received will be depleted the cost increase within by 2020 "Are you in favor of medicaid expansion?" "Close the IRS!" Okay, pretty standard tea party stuff. There's not a lot of info on the 411 site though- let's pull up his personal site! Oh look, an article on immigration reform- A few choice bits from "Mexican Pres. Nieta Wants “Counterfeit” Hispanic/Latino Nation in America" posted:http://www.cfabamerica.com/write-in...ion-in-america1 What? Same Article posted:Why should America listen to Nieta or any other Mexican/Hispanic/Latino leader? All inventions that make the world go around were invented in America in the late 1800s and early 1900s by white/black/Europeans Americans! Nieta needs to Google Black inventors of America and see that the black inventors were the catalysts in telecommunications, electronics and industrialism. White inventors like Edison,Graham Bell, car manufacturers, Westinghouse, Nabisco and the train companies bought the patents of black inventors to move America forward! Same Article posted:Mexican, Hispanic and Latinos never invented anything! Now they want to come and take over what we Americans achieved by waltzing their people across the borders with babies in their bellies. Same Article posted:Now despot leaders like Nieta think they are going to turn America into some slovenly nation like Mexico and have Americans speaking Spanish which is an extremely inefficient language. A sentence in English with 25 words will take about 35 to 40 words in Spanish with about 70 syllables. Okay then. That was really a bit more than I bargained for but I guess it was my fault for clicking on an article about immigration. Let's try something a little milder. What's this about a protest at Rick Scott's office? The Haunting of Governor Rick Scott’s Ft. Lauderdale Campaign Office! posted:In a bizarre move to shake up and wake up the sleeping Florida governor’s race; and to pay Rick Scott back for his veto of the fair alimony bill passed by his own party, lieutenant governor write-in candidate, Christine Timmon showed up at Scott’s Ft. Lauderdale campaign office in full haunting gear and caused a big eerie ruckus!! Timmon cast a pall over Scott’s office with make-shift coffins and two huge effigies that frightened on-lookers and those going in to make phone calls. It was truly a haunting! Scott did not get away on August 16, 2014. Okay. Odd, but I guess that's kinda funny- Same Article posted:Timmon held a memorial for the wives and children who have been beaten, maimed and murdered in divorce/alimony fights. Husbands have been badly abused by divorce attorneys in these fights; and many of them snap and beat, maim and kill their spouses because they believe they are unjustly having all their life’s work taking from them by an unfair process in divorce courts. The Divorce attorneys are using breaking up marriages to line their pockets. Same Article posted:It is no secret that unfair alimony causes violence and murder in families; and no-fault divorce breaks up families by letting the wife receive a large portion of an-ex-husband’s earnings, often for life; along with child support. A wife has no incentive to keep her family together with the lucrative alimony payments from her husband. Same Article posted:All a wife has to do is state “irreconcilable” differences. Even if the husband has done nothing, he will be required to pay if the marriage has been sexually consummated; if not, the marriage can be annulled with no alimony costs. Same Article posted:ANOTHER THING TO NOTE IS, MANY BELIEVE THE PAST THIRTY YEARS OF NO-FAULT DIVORCE THAT HAS BROKEN UP MARRIAGES AND BROUGHT ABOUT HIGH ALIMONY PAYMENTS MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE HIGH AMOUNT OF HOMOSEXUALITY AMONGST MEN. TIMMON INTERVIEWED TWO GAY MEN….BOTH SAID MARRYING A WOMAN WOULD MAKE THEM “CHATEL”, AND WARDS OF THE COURT WHO COULD LOSE EVERYTHING! There is no smilie for this, sweet baby Jesus. He has a whole site full of crazy: http://www.cfabamerica.com/

I was following through to the source on the answers to the question about requiring immigrants to learn English and found this gem.The Democratic National Platform posted:Democrats know there is broad consensus to repair that system and strengthen our economy, and that the country urgently needs comprehensive immigration reform that brings undocumented immigrants out of the shadows and requires them to get right with the law, learn English, and pay taxes in order to get on a path to earn citizenship.
