also because she has a bad attitude..someone post that sneer at reporter gif also because she's vapid and self-absorbed and her personality basically has no redeeming qualities. if she lived her quiet life that'd be fine but she's throwing herself on screens all across the country as if she has something to say and be to people. personally i think she sucks and should disappear, her looks are only a small part of the equation.

yeah don't really even think she's particularly hideous, but i can't stand her. i legitimately gave the show a shot but neither my wife nor i could stomach it. i even tried reading the article she wrote for the new yorker but jesus it was just so loving bad. plus literally no one from the upper class has anything worthwhile to say, and especially isn't some loving voice of a generation.

Hi, so, unasked-for opinion time! If you are freaking out over Lena Dunham's supposed sexual abuse of her younger sister, you probably know approximately nothing about child sexuality and need to calm the gently caress down. It's nothing people want to talk about, but uh, children do have sexual interests, they experiment with themselves and with others. It's part of their little dang-the-world-is-crazy full-of-wonder brains. If unchecked yeah, the experimentation can go too far, but most of the damage done when children play doctor (or other sexual games) with each other comes from adults having conniption fits than anything they did with one another. This happens most with siblings too. Just, dang people, read some books? Google some poo poo? Lena Dunham's sister hasn't gone on record to say that her older sister abused her so, prooooooooobably she doesn't feel that way. And yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say that the people experiencing hings should get to put words to what happened to them. It's just, yeah, as a victim of sexual abuse as a child, this poo poo gets me riled up.

This is kind-of related but I found out that my little brother is actually friends with the lil sis in question. Apparently the whole molestation charge is "complete media fabrication" according to him. I haven't bothered to press but I think he's just terrified of going against people who could make or break his future career in studio art (yes you can and should make fun of that).

i tried to find a funniest moments video to give it a fair go but all i got was one with Chris o'dowd doing a terrible fake accent for some reason and one involving dunham and her friend in the bath and them messing around with a gob of snot. between that and the first half hour of tiny furniture i feel qualified to say im not watching any more of this shite also lol that dunham has to pretend that her self insert isn't a complete Mary sue because everyone was like "Christ what a bitch"
