Bet you forgot it even existed, right? Actually, all I remember about it is the weird midget kid always freaked me out so I don't really want to watch it again. Basically I'm just posting this thread because I heard the word willow and was like OH poo poo I FORGOT ABOUT THAT MOVIE, and figured goons might have a similar reaction. Willow is the like The Game of movies. Tell me goons, what does Willow mean to you?

I watched Willow a few weeks ago. It was a favorite of my father's so it's one I've seen several of times over the years. The two things I remember most are the witch turned into a goat and Val Kilmer turned into a pig.

I haven't seen Willow in probably 15 years, but I still can hum the main theme. Val Kilmer was cool. Also the story was a total ripoff of Lord of the Rings.

Willow is actually a pretty good movie, OP it's got decent effects shots for its time and some fun characters particularly mad martigan and fantasy darth vader aka general cail its a fun fantasy adventure movie bavmorda owns and her daughter is p hot, sorsha or whatever

I saw it fairly recently. I've heard people hating on it and, to be honest, I don't really see why because it's a fun film. Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer were good in it. At the very least, Willow gets points for being a fantasy movie in the 80's that didn't resort to having its characters get teleported to modern day Earth so the director could save money filming parts of the movie at his house. The NES game of Willow is also challenging yet good.

My 6'6" buddy nearly ran over Warwick Davis in the hall at Gencon one year and it was everything he could do to resist yelling "Out of the way, peck!". The burly bodyguards Davis had certainly helped the situation.
