I've read both Lena Dunham and Amanda Palmer's books (Yes, I need to kill myself. I know), and Amanda Palmer is way worse at making a loving point. Lena Dunham is at least shrewd enough to make things that people watch and read. Amanda Palmer is mainly known for inspiring ugly people to pursue their ukelele collective or paper flowers for Palestine initiative. Lena Dunham doesn't pretend to have some philosophy of life, just a TV show.

I really like American Gods, but like everything Gaiman's done, I think it'd be better if it was in a visual medium. If HBO did an American Gods mini-series (maybe 6-8 episodes) and cast Bill Burr as the leprechaun guy, it'd be the best thing ever.
