honestly if it came right down to it and both sides nuked each other I would be fairly surprised if more than a quarter of the missiles launched correctly let alone detonated as they should. Somehow I don't think all that poo poo has been maintained as it should have been. The bombs from planes would probably still work but those aren't as good.

Russia's just mad they aren't a superpower anymore and nearly all of their eastern European "buddies" are now in the US camp. Russia is pretty terrible at the whole evil empire thing, america is way better at it Russian sphere of influence barely extends past their own borders while nearly the whole planet is within the US sphere sucks that a country full of nihilists have nukes though
