I tried c# once but I just couldn't get "into" it I guess. Java suits my needs just fine, it's an alright language actually.

java is sort of like manufacturing in a nice, clean, first world factory while the c languages are more like a a dirty basement without air conditioning in Bangladesh. sure, the basement might be more efficient economically but its not really ethical, quality suffers and it might just blow up anytime.

java's ok. i don't really like it but it's ok. the instrumentation in the JVM is pretty rad for tracking down mistakes from engineering in operations and saying "you're leaking a shitpile of objects here you should fix that" and then just setting up a restart loop when it starts spending 70% of its time garbage collecting i guess what i'm saying is that this is about correct: The Management posted:Java is like the crayon of programming languages. which is to say they give it to retards so they don't hurt themselves.
