Speights is weird because he's always had decent post moves but has never been able to consistently turn them into buckets.

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.

You're right. They'll talk about how the Lakers are poo poo because nobody wants to play with Kobe.

They probably won't do this either, since it isn't true.

I want Kobe to shamelessly come back in the game to get 50, but I guess that's not happening.

Brent Barry just had this to say about Steve Kerr: "Artists create, but great artists steal. Steve Kerr steals - he steals from other coaches he's seen."

He's coached for ten games.

We're talking about sports media, so I'm not sure how the latter half of this impacts the former.

I'd wager that talking heads would bring up Jeremy Lin and his performance before talking about Kobe.

Cause Lin really isn't having a great game.

Lin right now is sort of a third rail because if you are slightly critical of him, Lin-Only-Fans will find you, and will make you regret talking about him.

I don't totally blame him because this offense is a total mismatch for his skills, but there are times where the Lakers are better off with Ronnie Price on the floor than Jeremy Lin which I didn't expect to find myself saying this year.

E2: Wrong about the edit, it was last night
