I play Crawl, DoomRL and Tome4 OP. Of those 3, I have beaten Crawl 7 times (4 15 runers) and DoomRL on Ultra Violence. The tome4 victory eludes me because I refuse to play on baby mode, ahem, I mean the mode with lives. What other roguelikes should I sink my teeth into? Brogue looks cool and also short like DoomRL. Is it?

whats the difference between a good rogue and bad rogue ive played half of those games and i cant tell which are good or bad i liked 1 way heroics the most because its pretty quick but that doesnt seem like a defining characteristic of the genre

DCSS is really good about this.
