This is by far my favorite "Doctor's farewell". So perfect and true to Smith's Doctor and a breath of fresh air after the angst and selfishness of Tennant's regeneration.

:siren:Heads Up:siren:

Amazon has the Matt Smith Christmas Specials on Blu-Ray for $9 or less each, plus the complete David Tennant seasons for $99, which is a pretty decent deal as far as US prices go. There's also all 3 Doctors Revisited (one serial + extras for each doctor) for $45, which is a great intro pack if you've never seen any Classic Who.

There's something about the way she sort of always is half rolling her eyes that channels Ainley and Delgado, but with a manic pace that's better suited to the new show and channels Simm. I hope they keep her around for awhile and she comes back every now and then.

See that's what I don't get. Why do people have these arbitrary thresholds for scientific accuracy? It's so strange but people seem to cling to these random standards of "acceptability" or have limits to where they can "suspend their disbelief" and I just don't understand the mindset. I can "suspend my disbelief" indefinitely but it seems like other people can't?

So that's why I rage against "suspension of disbelief": because so many people seem to be so bad at it that they ought to try approaching media from an angle that they might get more out of.

You really are the perfect person to spearhead a goon wiki project.
