Ever so slightly disillusioned with it all. Cant seem to find 3 people to do a heist, let alone 3 that wont auto fail within 30 seconds. Seems like all the guns and vehicle mods and stuff will take so long to unlock all the games content will be exhausted by then.

I want to set up a small series of impromptu races (up to 30 racers!) across the island. It would be a few pre-planned point-to-points that should give a nice test of a variety of driving abilities as well as some epic book-ends. Open with a race from north point to the portlands, tackle a series of short races in downtown, the hills, the desert and finish off with a climb to the top of mount chiliad. Or something.

These would be done in classic sports or 70s era muscle cars. I don't know if we want to get all rp nerdy with the rules (no wacky colours) but it would be sweet to see a fleet of era-appropriate designs racing together. I personally don't care.

I'll capture everyone's times and tally the results and maybe offer up a free avatar or forums upgrade for a prize or something. Maybe a cheap shark card


What do you guys think? Give me your input! I'll be on mumble tonight so you can whisper sweet nothings into my ear about how bad an idea this is. I'll take a day or two to work out the finer points and give some notice for people to free up time.

Hopefully this link works. Just created my first race, a point to point offroad run all around Blaine County. I left most of the car classes enabled in case anyone wants to do a super goofy gimmick race with Zentornos on dirt roads or whatever, but motorcycles and Utility are disabled because it's really not a good track for them

It took about 8 minutes to do in a stock BF Injection when I tested it, so i'd advise against trying to trade wins on it. Recommend using Off Road or Muscle as the car class, and for maximum amounts of fun try setting the weather to rain. Anyways, let me know what you guys think

I was testing it earlier with a few friends, they pointed out one or two small tweaks I need to make, mostly just placing some hay bales and maybe one extra checkpoint so the route is a bit more clear towards the end. One of them also suggested a version that's just a fast loop around Mount Josiah using the road that runs along Lago Zancudo and the one that runs along the south bank of Cassidy Creek, so I might make a somewhat shorter circuit version of it this afternoon after work

The real car is closer to a Vulcan though, which is monumentally sexy and has a stylish rear-end, than it is to the new GT which is an abomination and retarded looking from the rear. If they'd have just fully modeled it on the Vulcan I'd be all over it.
