I love when officials call hooking when you can visibly see the player grab the stick and put it under their arm and clamp down. That probably should be a focus of embellishment calls. I mean it doesn't excuse Maatta for having his stick that high, but it was nowhere near his core until he pulled it there.

Ehrhoff has been quietly really good defensively and everyone making GBS threads on him is missing just how good he's been in our zone (and in getting out of our zone). I hope we can keep him past this season. Martin too, he's been money for us after that one really bad year.
