The delayed blinking in the first one is the cutest thing to me for some reason.
a lot of animals do that, iirc it's so they can blink without losing sight of what's going on around them
cats do it a whole bunch and it's almost as adorable

My car is bright orange, and it attracts all kinds of bugs that normally hang out on or around flowers. Accordingly, it also attracts things that hunt them. Last summer I had a jumping spider set up shop in my left side mirror. He commuted with me every day for weeks until one day he jumped onto me as I was getting out of my car.

I relocated him to the untamed jungle that is my back yard, where, as far as I know, he lived out the rest of his days and banged all the cute spider chicks.

I don't have pics, but he was one of these:

Oh it's SO CUTE! Its tiny tiny lil tongue! Aww I wish we had those here (tasmania). We do, however, have a quite adorable little legless skink that I cannot find on wikipedia. I've found them in my parents yard a few times. It definitely had vestigal legs. I guess it ... could have just been a batch of quite deformed skinks. Anyway I guess it's sort of on its way to becoming an adorable tiny snake? Probably snake people will tell me how terribly wrong I am. They're still cute, but skinks aren't happy about being handled at all and detach their tails when spooked, so I never try to pick them up.
there are a ton of different 'legless' lizards with stupid tiny vestigial limbs :kimchi:
considering you're in Tasmania, the most likely candidate is some kind of Pygopid, which apparently are technically geckos?
