Smith-Pelly playing center is weird. He's done it at the AHL level but only for a couple of games. I think they did it because they wanted to put Tim Jackman in against the truculent flames or whatever. The defense has to play those pairs, they're all of the healthy guys including two AHL guys (Manson and Clark). Actually, Manson is an NHLer at this point.
