My wife's grandma keeps giving us $900 exactly at random intervals. I have no idea what drives it, and I have no idea when it's coming next. We, combined, do more than ok for ourselves and we're alright. But suddenly it's May Day or one of our birthdays, and boom, envelope full of cash. We tried to ask "Why" one time and she got mad and we kept getting money. Having once dug through my car seats to find money for food, I've dissuaded my wife from asking more questions.
