I'm not really sure if this counts Skylark, but there was this time I downloaded the Planetside 2 launcher, and canceled installing as soon as the game started patching. The download was just so huge, that I x'd out of it and didn't come back for like 3-4 months.

whats worse than this? sending a document (especially large, full colour) to the printer and then you realise its wrong you know youre never getting that ink or paper back

i assume windows users have this problem all the time since installing programs on windows, in my limited experience, is navigating a bunch of cancel, no, uncheck and such boxes/windows until it starts installing, and then you discover halfway thru which parts you did wrong and now have ask toolbar or remembering hitler toolbar or the juche ideology daily reminder plugin or whatever installing automatically when you just wanted to burn a CD or something

skylark sometimes i get apprehensive about installing an application or realize theres a better way to do what im trying to do and i press the cancel button and the progress bar goes backwards and things are usually ok hth
