I must have never seen this. The only 12v ones I've ever seen at HF are the ones with the lovely plastic tank that holds, oh.. less than a cup. They have a now-discontinued battery pack/light/compressor that was the same story. I had one of their super-duper special coupons once, and picked up the small 12v compressor for a whole $6.

I had a couple low 15" tires- and decided to use it rather than drive to the gas station and piss away $1. It took about 10 minutes to add 1 pound, and then had to be turned off so it didn't get too hot and seizemelt. It has since been regulated to only filling basketballs and smaller tires.

Welp, even though it happened on private property, my homeowners doesn't want to cover damages to things which are not the home. They covered the fence, but won't cover the loving vandalism? Better get out my agreements, because I actually had that increased specifically for vehicular coverage a couple years ago- and I'm still paying for it.

Try hitting up Craigslist and the multitude of forums. You may be lucky. I scored a complete set of 03 LPT 16" wheels for $50, just because they were so goddamn ugly nobody wanted them. They made good winter tires.

Had sleep paralysis once or twice. Thats nothing big (anymore). The hardest part is just trying to keep yourself calm.

Thanks, but I wasn't actually serious. There is no way in hell I want a '96 850. I've had one good '96, and it was an NG900. A complete loving turd that I fixed up for somebody who was without a car. That $1500 car ended up costing me nearly twice that by the time it was fixed (perfectly, natch, since it was getting CARB'd). I want a hatch again. :argh:

The '99 Saturn SC2 is a 5 speed and probably has a reserve of $600, too.

Power started getting fucky last night (Rain to Snow to Slush to OHFUCK). Went out for good this morning about an hour and a half ago.

I'm not too worried. I have two laptops with good batteries, my amazing noname UPS can run the router and cable box for 10 hours.. and as for heat? I've got a gas stove. I'll just light it carefully from a match clipped to an antenna with an alligator clip. :banjo:

I would like to listen to a bit better audio than the $0.25 radio I picked up a few years ago to flip because it was branded with a local event. Never bothered, because it isn't worth all that much. :v:

It was pretty fun to SPIN DEM FRONT WHEELZ in first from a stop light but once you hit second, yeah, it was almost overtake time. Plus the high rear window made it a bit of a bitch to parallel park until you KNEW how large (small) your drat car was.

Not very common on our part of the rolling sphere. 'Tis the season for new DSL and cable, so check with your local providers. Charter Business was offering a no-contract phone+cable+internet bundle, but it'll probably be just as difficult to get out of their billing cycle as a customer as it is NOT being one. I think you may have "Clearwire" nearby, but their throughput is abysmal, even compared to bargain basement DSL.

I have, well, all Samsungs. I had one with lovely caps - and they sent someone out to fix it about a year after the warranty expired. Still works perfectly, even if it is only 1080p. The speakers are complete poo poo, but I don't watch stuff that needs loud explosions, so I could give slightly less of a gently caress than if it just had audio out. Enjoy your new video display tuner-thing!

Yes, and no. HDMI is the new USB. They all plug into the same looking ports, but not all things work- thanks to different revisions. My 2008 is godawful in that it takes at least 3 seconds of signal to get its poo poo together. By that time, many consumer devices say "gently caress this", and stop talking. I actually returned a Blu-Ray player because no matter how I gave it 'FALL BACK TO 640i BITCH' commands, it tried to sniff the TV, failed, and shut off. I have a combination of HDMI 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4. If I try to swap cables to do a test, I need to make sure they are compatible. Yeah. gently caress This, indeed.

Goddamn why did we ever get rid of "thinner, sexier" lightswitches on radios? I don't even need to look to make Petty (or Floyd, or commercials) go away. Just lean *snap*. Best $2.50 I've spent in the last year or so. Haven't even tried to test the VCR and other junk that came with it, yet..

E: Just noticed the AC passthrough on the back says "Don't use anything over 500W on this switched plug." Guess I'll clear some space for my 12v/650mA record player..
