Can't go wrong with the ZX spectrum I hear it can display 16 colors. 16!!! That's twice as many as eight. You can't afford not to buy it.

ipad air. quick as gently caress, cheap, literally apps for everything with the biggest selection and the best quality, compatibility with an enormous range of hardware, tiny, light, thin, nice lookin, can't ever get viruses or get hosed up by any kind of malware, backs up to the cloud, easy enough for grandma, and office is on there. if you get the one with 4g in then you don't even need a phone line or a phone or a house or nothing

TOILETLORD posted:i just heard of this great new technology, 8.5 inch readable discette. I never had the 8.5 inch ones, just the 5.25 which seemed huge compared to the 3.5 inchers. I figured the 8.5 inch disks had to be horribly unwieldy fuckers and yep they sure are.

If you want to freely access your files as you see fit and want a good healthy price vs. componet performace ratio... STAY THE gently caress AWAY from anything Apple.

I've been posting on my phone for over a year now but today I splurged and spent 150 dollars on a used HP laptop. It's pretty decent and it's a way better posting experience so far

serious post. Buy an i5 from dell outlet that has a pci x16 slot. Buy a geforce 750 ti with low enough power draw. Boom, you can do everything (except post well). Maybe not at super high res and high detail, but everything will run.

Buy an Apple II and hold on to it for another few decades. If you can keep it working it will likely be worth a considerable amount of money. This is a flawless plan.

Realtalk: Try to get an HP. If you don't like HP then I guess a Dell will suffice. DO NOT, FOR ANY REASON, BUY A SONY, TOSHIBA, LENOVO, ASUS, OR ANY OTHER BULLSHIT PIECE OF poo poo. Or get a macbook air or something.
