 except for the laptop scene skyfall stood out as not just a good bond movie but a pretty good regular standalone action movie
im sure the next one will feel much more like a regular bond movie but i have a positive attitude about its entertainment value

 id feel like i was reaching to hold noticing a homage to a film from the previous series as something that ruins a movie for me

 i didnt watch any pierce brosnan bond movies after goldeneye
goldeneye was pretty great (that intro rules) but read the plot of the next one and turned it down flat
