Yes, yes and yes. I'm working on a "Italy is knocked out of the war early" scenario right now that features lots more Commonwealth troops, planes and ships to defend Malaya.

I've seen it AARed out a few times (though not in years) and it tended to lead to the Soviets not QUITE being defeated and a hell of a lot of attrition on the Japanese air services.

My guess is instead of the useless superbattleships you'd see an extra 1 or 2 fleet carriers and 50+ subs at the start of the war, 4 or 5 aircraft carriers and 150+ subs by 1943. It wouldn't be overwhelming or really change the overwhelming Allied advantage late war, but It'd allow an even stronger early war performance, more carriers and planes and picket subs around Pearl Harbor to start, etc.. It would be cool to see how that would balance out.

The B7A is amazing and should be one of the top priorities of Japanese players for early arrival aircraft that aren't fighters.

The deeper/less pale the color, the more assault value is in the hex. Dark red is a strong Japanese force, pale pinkish might just be a base force or a construction unit.
