You know it would be quite fitting because the first movie was actually banned from cinemas here. Not that it really matters to me though since they all came out before I was born.

I think it looked like the poo poo. It also gets a thumbs up from me from using at least some practical effects and not being a total CGI piece of poo poo.

These days I don't get my hopes up for sequels (or any movie really), but the trailer was entertaining and I've watched it 5 or 6 times already so that's 15 minutes of free entertainment. A lot of detail went into the vehicles and outfits. Killdozer's son is even in the movie. It's nice to see a car chase movie that 1) actually smashes up real cars and 2) doesn't feel like a commercial. If the third act features a 2015 Mustang that somehow survived the apocalypse in mint condition I'll be more than a little disappointed. Disclaimer: I have no bias against any part of the color spectrum, I watch movies for escapism not realism, and I think Speed Racer is a work of art. edit: Watching this has inspired me to re-install FUEL so that's a plus. ^^^and the dude jumping like that is retarded. Tired of this comic book style crap. Wasn't it harrowing enough when they'd just climb onto the vehicles? Going full blown autist here Some of the vehicles look cool. But what the gently caress, no blue heeler and a ridiculous fire tornado? I get their point though. I recently watched all three in rapid succession (thanks, flu, or whatever the hell you were!) after having only basically familiarity and seen bits and pieces of all three, and the first feels like a very different movie. I liked Mad Max a lot, and thought it was interesting how different in style the first two movies are. The Road Warrior is probably my favorite because it's just wall-to-wall awesome poo poo, but Mad Max has a really distinct 70s movie feel to it that I can get into. I knew the whole Never Never Land feral child dickhead tree village part of Beyond Thunderdome was coming just because it's been parodied here and there, but I was still amazed by how jarring and out of place it was in the series. What the hell.

That's gone kinda takes a lot away from the film. they also kinda lose out because they went for the OMG epic film bringing the ninja dilemma 1 ninja dangerous 1000 not a threat. Looks like they are trying to just make a peter jackson movie on wheels. What's the deal with them showing so many pale rear end people why don't any of the actors have tans, and why do they look like they got 5 baths a day. Hollywood always focuses now on movies doing one thing good then poo poo on everything else so they have something to market and you almost always end up wityh something fun to watch maybe once for the spectacle then afterwards gets forgotten. poo poo, went down hill fast after they stopped using real film, and they started to pay actors millions, quick tip, fire any actor who wants more than a million dollars and just hire people who want to work. Heck hollywood would probably benefit if they full nonunion again.

So honestly i'm curious why are there less real car crashes in lots of movies now. Can't studios just buy a bunch of poo poo heap cars and just get the engine running for a scene and wreck it? Are stunt men over paid babies now?

Everyone now looks far too young to be playing the roles they are playing. R movies are usually weaker than old pg or pg-13 movies.
