when i first heard of hackerspaces i assumed they were like this   or at least this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh2MDHO8Bfg then i found out about noisebridge and was profoundly disappointed

there could be a variety of different causes for a link between anarchism and mental health issues (people with schizophrenia etc may be more likely to buy into conspiracy theories and turn to anarchism as a result, open & welcoming spaces like occupy or noisebridge can seem pretty inviting to homeless people, and so on) but yeah recognised mental health issues may not necessarily be the cause of that
