Since I saw the Ariel Atom episode of Top Gear I've been window shopping elemental type track cars. I like the idea of a bare bones road/track car stripped to the essentials, less to go wrong in my mind. Plus access to e Atom's are way too expensive, and then I heard about the Exomotive Exocet. I had my heart on getting a Miata and doing one up. But then I saw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD3y7ylpqO8 and now I've been looking at C4 Corvettes. I think the C4 makes an ideal platform too as it appears to be double wishbone all around, and they're cheap due to the gold chain factor.
