Isn't asbestos only dangerous if you breathe it in and it gets in your lungs. Just don't got rear end to mouth and you'll be fine.

If you're just putting them up your rear end, it should be fine. Just don't fart in someone's face while they're stuffed up there, I guess.

Bloodfart McCoy posted:Isn't asbestos only dangerous if you breathe it in and it gets in your lungs. Just don't got rear end to mouth and you'll be fine. No. The danger of asbestos is that it's fibres are insoluble by the body; if some are lodged inside the body it can't break them down and in trying to, it damages the surrounding tissues, causing cancer. You can get cancer from asbestos anywhere in/on the body; skin cancer, stomach cancer, etc, and yes, colon cancer from asbestos anal beads. PROVIDED, of course, that the fibres flake loose and lodge themselves in your butt. So if you take care of them and aren't too rough, and get rid of them if they're damaged/worn,you'll be fine, buy that's a risk you'll have to decide for yourself. can I safely reverse into a burning building or structure with these?
|

It really depends on the density of the material, it is really difficult to get asbestos fibers out of Bakelite, vinyl or thermoplastics which makes them pretty safe as far as asbestos containing products go. There is also some evidence to suggest that well bound materials are safer because the fibers don't come out 'clean' so while your body has difficulty removing pure asbestos if the fibers are coated somewhat with another material, I would guess in the case of beads some sort of resin or plastic then the body can easier flush these fibers as it can 'move' the coated part.
