She's dressed like she could have been in Empire Records. Very 90's.

1. Freeman 2. Rock 3. Pratt 4. Harrelson 5. Hader 6. Franco 7. Diaz 8. Carrey 9. Silverman The early sketch let-downs were more than made up for by most of the rest of the episode, aside from the conveyor belt sketch. Everyone let loose a little bit, finally, and that's almost always a good thing. Even Jost has improved. The Office Middle Earth is going to be one of those bits that pops up in Best Of episodes from here on out. All of the pre-tapes this week were some of the best they've done in the past couple of seasons. I still think they could've done some real biting satire with the cold open, though. Big waste there.

I liked how the conveyor sketch ended exactly when it needed to, it's a skill demonstrated so rarely on SNL that it's great when it shows up. In all that's the most solid episode this season start to finish. I'm not even really upset at the torture open; the gleeful nature of the torture guys was satire enough for me, coming from SNL. I guess I don't hold them up to the standard I'd hold, say, the Daily Show to for that. Also any mention of that infuriating Kars for Kids commercial is ok by me.

I was feeling sleepy so I went to bed right after WU, just finished the episode. Fantastic final sketches, none of them too long.

Oh wow Sasheer finally got to be something besides an Uhura backdrop, that's nice. Really looking forward to Amy Adams, she keeps stealing scenes from amazing actors every time I see her in something, just immensely talented.
