 The first version of The U was a hit. It was basically college football porn. You saw how Miami came about and dominated the 80's, the hidden racism in the media in covering them in comparison to "whiter" teams, and how Miami basically invented the celebration penalty rules.  The second part picks up right after the first one ends, in the early 90's and goes up to the present day. The premier was held at The Colony Theater on Lincoln Road in South Beach last night and will air after the Heisman ceremony on Saturday at 9:00. What is particularly interesting about this sequel is that the entire second half is basically devoted to making GBS threads on the NCAA hard. So even if you aren't a fan of the U, you have a good reason to watch. If you haven't watched The U (Part 1), its on Netflix and you should go watch it now. This promises to be one of the best and most watched 30 for 30 in quite a while. Also, I don't have my .gifs on this computer so can someone please post Iaintscaredofyoubitch.gif please?

I just got done watching: RAND University and Jimmy the Greek 30 for 30s. Both awesome. Watching The U part 1 today followed by the sequel tonight. Get in. Also is this going to include parts of how that little mobster guy destroyed the football program a few years back?

Tonight, everyone can be a fan of Da U. And yes it will include Nevin Shapiro. AFAIK, it runs through this season, including some of the fire al golden banners.

Rand University didn't even show up when I tried to watch it live on an Apple TV but I was able to do it on my computer.
