From the ages of 24-26 I was a hardcore, half a gram a day meth addict. I've been clean for about 6 months now. I still have all my teeth. Towards the end of the wild ride, I was borderline schizophrenic. I honestly believed in reptilians who ruled the world. Ask away!

I was in engineering courses, so the demand got more and more, and I started taking more and more pills. Eventually I started running low at the ends of the month, so I had to figure something out. The first time I smoked meth, I was hooked. It was like adderall, just more powerful, and instant. No waiting around for the pill to kick in.

But sometimes with enough time awake and enough stimulants in your body you can enter this acute psychosis where you are having full on hallucinations of sights and sounds that do not exist. So either is possible. It is interesting though that some of these more bizzare delusions (lizard people, microchips in your teeth)seem to be common among people

I don't think she actually knows anything now. I think if anything, all it really did was force me to be skeptical of everything I hear on the news. I was schizo for so long, it's not like your brain stops thinking the things it was thinking for a entire two years.

I never actually saw any reptile people, or shadow people. Never, not even once. It was more the "idea" that reptiles existed.

When users talk about being awake 4-5 days sometimes even a week, is that true? Or do you more think it's just them having no recollection(how could you?) and maybe there days were sprinkled with 1-2 hour naps. Like can you really be awake for 5 days in a row?

Like I said before, on day 3, I've been so tired that I took a hit, put the pipe down, blew the hit out, and fell asleep. After a certain point, it don't matter how much meth you smoke, you're going to fall asleep.

Just to chime in that you can do it, 3 days is relatively easy but it gets sketchy after that. Day 4+ is when you start to have microsleeps, might come to from thinking you were partying with the shadow people to realize you're alone in a silent apartment.

I excelled at everything. Eventually the paranoia got to me, because I reasoned college was a waste of time, and dropped out, or something. The world needs average people, and there is nothing wrong with being one of those people. If I hadn't of eaten those mushrooms, i'd probably still be doing meth. I flushed the bag I had, slept about 16 hours a day for 3 months, and realized I needed to do something that would make this world a better place. I want to die a good person, who left this world a better place, not a drug addict who took as much as he good and never gave back. Good on you for waking up in the only way that really matters and deciding to turn your life around. Especially for realizing all that before you'd burned every bridge and destroyed everything. Out of curiosity, what brings you pleasure now? Have you picked up any hobbies or started volunteering?
