Kinda sad seeing so many people say they never watched season 4. Season 3 was ultimate bullshit but 4 was fairly good with the Evil Carnival led by T-Bag Magneto.

ED: Also I see this show's logo is the blown up Earth, are they going to decide that Hiro's vision in the first episode of season 3 that started the whole season but never ever even got close to happening at any point in the show's run is still happening? Really?

I thought they eventually implied that Hiro's vision was Earth-Magneto's doing.

I know TVIV loves nothing more than post endlessly about bad shows rather than actually watch or discuss good shows but the trailers coming out for this are at worst kind of bland and inoffensive, and show some actual promise.

Also season 4 was absolutely better than 2 and 3. As goofy as season 4 was, it was actually a proper "comic book story" with T-Bag as Dirt Magneto. Season 3 was so bad that Robert Forrester couldn't even redeem it.

Let's give it up for bland! I mean, if the 90 seconds they hype us with are boring, the entire season has to be great! That's how trailers work!

I didn't say this will be a great, or even a good, show. I just said the trailers are actually quite promising, especially given what they have to work with (Mohinder returning, e.g.)

People might not give TVIV so much poo poo if there were any middle ground between "this show gave me orgasms. plural" and "this show gave me cancers. plural".

Video Game Girl isn't Decker. She's Galatea (the one from the Pygmalion myth, not the evil faux-Powergirl from JLU)

She isn't an Evo who can travel into a video game. She is a video game character whose EVO creator used his powers to make real

This is probably exactly the case, seeing as how Harris Prime asked her if she was her father's "greatest creation". Not to mention she even has an "idle animation" (folding cranes).

Random related comic's question: Has there ever been a comic with the cliche of people suddenly getting powers for some purpose and have it turn out that these powers were in fact a curse, and everyone used them in terrible manners?

Marvel's "New Universe" kinda did that. Despite it being a failure on the scale of "New Coke", some of the comics in that line were actually quite interesting.

DP7 is the one most obviously analogous to Heroes.

Why did the guy say "you wouldn't believe me if I told you" when asked where Hiro is? Motherfucker can travel through time AND space, where would he be that would be unbelievable?

So the plan is obviously "teleport things into the future". What I'm trying to wrap my brain around is "why not use the powers of evos to uh just stop the solar flare in the first place". On a scale of "easy" to "hard" I would really think that "literally terraforming our own planet from scratch" would be definitely harder than "put a big shield over poo poo or something".
