I've used this handle since I discovered internet forums. In a baked haze I managed to focus on two random words from radiohead's "Hail to the Thief" (back when I thought I could get more into them) cd artwork. It seemed apt then as I kept relapsing, now it is just a comfy pair of pants.

As a kid I was obsessed with my partial Norwegian heritage and also with building computers and programming. Not so much either anymore, but it's been my name for many an account, so it's comforting and familiar. I just thought it sounded cool back in the day but Odin is a pretty cool god name if you're an English language nerd like me.  "Old Norse had two different words spelled óðr, one an adjective and the other a noun. The adjective means "mad, frantic, furious, violent", and is cognate with Old English wōd (hence the Anglo-Saxon Wōden). The noun means "mind, wit, soul, sense" and "song, poetry".
