I'm really gay and listen and/or watch musicals quite often. Mine are Les Mis and Jesus Christ Superstar. Please Respond.

none because PEOPLE DON'T SING LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE gently caress YOU just once I want to go to a show, and when the first character starts performing the first musical number, all the other characters are horrified and call 911 because their friend is having some sort of psychotic break or complex partial seizure or something. men in white coats cart them away and there's no more musical numbers for the rest of the play. i guess the wicker man, when it comes to movie musicals

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. I saw a stage production of this years before the 2007 film adaptation (starring Johnny Depp). Both were great. Throat-cutting, pies made from human meat, and toe-tapping songs are the perfect combination.

Original Camelot from Broadway. Julie Andrews. Robert Goulet is great in that as well. Moulin Rouge is probably second.

It's a toss up between "My Fair Lady" and "The Sound of Music". "Victor/Victoria" is pretty fuckin good too. "Mary Poppins" Or maybe it's because Julie Andrews was hot as poo poo

A song from A Chorus Line popped into my head the other day. That soundtrack used to play at my house a lot when I was a kid but I think a lot of it went over my head, maybe I should check it out again as an adult. FAKE EDIT: drat I forgot all about these songs, now I'm remembering like one line from each one ONE........singular sensation and God I hope I get it....I hope I get it! and Dance 10, Looks 3....and then later in the song the chorus is like "Tits!...and aaaaaaaass"
