Ferrets are sleepy fuckers. Mine were especially sleepy this morning, which allowed me to gently caress with them. And so I present Tristan and Artemis in: The Ferrets, or There and Back to Sleep Again Upon opening the cage and bidding the ferrets a good morning, I am completely ignored.  I poke Tristan in the head and scritch his ears, a gentle encouragement towards morning.  After which, Tristan does the ferret equivalent of hitting the snooze button.  I annoy Tristan some more, while Artemis somehow maintains her insensibility to the world.  So I fluff Artemis until she also makes a grumpy face.  Mission accomplished. Because if I have to get up early in the morning to go to work, I'm going to make the ferrets entertain me while I get dressed.
