Surely in spirit if not in name. Tonight during the postgame Ernie announced that the NBA is commemorating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr by SELLING AN EXCLUSIVE RUN OF COLLECTIBLE NIKES and someone, possibly Kenny or Chuck, went "eehhh" and I don't know whether it was about the design or the idea of directly profiting off of his image but at some point someone said some of the money is going to Charity so it's all ok

Eh Wilt was kinda cool and I guess he was an impossible God at basketball and assorted athletic feats but when it came to style there was a sun legend who outshone them all:  Lookit that dope phone, I bet he can record like 200 minutes of message with that superbeast a little after the last dunk contest I seen Shaq do his whole Acting A Fool bit and he highlighted a bit after a dunk during the grading where every judge was raising card except for honorary guest judge and greatest Knick Walt "Clyde" Frazier, kitted up to the nines in his custom cow tuxedo (he wears it a few times a year, MSG put it on a bobblehead:  ) and he's sorta spacing out and playing with a tablet computer instead of raising a number. Which is fine, he does that sorta thing, why would anyone care about the world around them if they are significantly cooler than any of it? He spends most of his off-season tending a garden down in the St Croix  and from what I've gleaned from on-air conversations with Mike Breen he has not have seen a single movie since Castaway with Tom Hanks. Which is to say, he ever is and shall be the coolest motherfucker on the planet, way too cool for the things most lame-os consider cool.  and anyways the previous dunk wasn't that great, who cares. So Shaq starts trying to get everyone to laugh at this silly old man c'mon guys ha ha ha he wasn't paying attention and Chuck is all Nah but Kenny proved himself all No No No "that's my favorite player of all time" right there. Shaq's trying to climb the ladder by putting down his betters, making fun of others to disguise his flaws, fat Kazaam Diesel gently caress ain't never worn a well-tailored suit, meanwhile Clyde's flossing in Manhattan before Shaq's New Jersey Dad ever abandons him for less annoying pastures  Anyhow Shaq's a bully thickhead with self-esteem issues, and y'all know Walt Frazier's been the motherfuckin man since about always, the historical greatest, the originator of silly NBA clothes  the friendly basketball bandit looked a lil bit like Tyson Chandler who is currently my favorite player
