for real though teachers suck because idiots go into the profession with the wrong idea about how it's going to pan out (because the teachers who teach people about teaching aren't being real about it), hit reality hard, and either keep grinding through it and become miserable assholes or flame out into another thankless but childe-free job

becoming a teacher basically means jumping into a profession whose main difference to joining the army is that you get shot at marginally less

I taught a CC course on environmental science once, was not for me. Not sure what the appeal of teaching is tbqh. I think it'd be beneficial to hoard what knowledge I do have as opposed to passing it on to others.
