I can tell Applewhite hasn't watched the Simpsons in a while. All his plots make sense and situations arise as reasonable reactions to things that happened previously.

The episode opens with the family watching Mary Poppins; a remark is made about Sherry Bobbins but before the question can be completed, Homer jumps up and declares that his new goal in life is to become a chimney sweep! Cut to a montage of him making dozens of phone calls to find clients, but the montage closes with rapid clips of everyone saying "no" and quickly hanging up. The final rejection is bumble bee man saying "no neccesitar" and homer replying with a dejected "que lastima". When hanging his head, he sees Lisa's report on north Korea and how they still rely on fires to keep warm instead of electricity! He gets the family there somehow (stealing the duff blimp, why not). Once he's there he jumps rooftop to rooftop singing about chimney sweeping and including lukewarm political commentary into the lyrics. The song ends with him falling through a roof and crashing into a meeting of KJU and Psy. Meanwhile Bart is lamenting not having any itchy and scratchy to watch and decides to sneak across the dmz to get to south Korea to the animation studios to watch an episode of it.... God drat it, did I just trick myself into writing an actual episode outline? This started of as some 2 sentence ;noeffort: post

Lisa wins the "best in technocracy scifi" short story competition in Science Fan magazine; the prize is a trip to stay in a research facility in Antarctica. By accident, homer's winning lottery ticket gets into her bag just before she heads off. She's there for a day or two before homer realises what has happened, and the family sets off to catch up with Lisa at the base in antarctica. Lisa is shocked and embarassed when they arrive, and tries to make excuses for her family's embarrassing behavior to the other scientists. it turns out that the facility is owned by Artie Ziff, who arrives in his megacopter upon discovering that the competition winner was Lisa Simpson. He promptly dispatches the research team on paid leave, before revealing to the simpsons that his original plan was to kidnap lisa to blackmail marge into leaving homer for him. Instead, he destroys all the radio equipment and the helicopter that brought homer, marge bart and maggie to meet Lisa, leaving them with no escape. With bart, Lisa and even maggie protesting along with homer, he forces them all out into the cold to face a bitter death, leaving himself alone with marge in the research facility. While the rest of the family struggles to survive in the barren antarctic wilderness, marge slowly develops a combination of cabin fever and stockholm syndrome with Artie, slowly succumbing to his weird advances. Meanwhile, homer and bart gamble each other's rations against each other over bets on which animals will win fights e.g. polar bear vs penguin. The gag is that the penguin wins, and homer loses all his food to bart. Homer then says "I'm going outside for a while, I might be some time..." but stops and lays down 5 feet outside the tent, laying on his back and weeping. He then waves his arms and legs, making a snow angel and begins to giggle (and alternates between this and sobbing a few times). The exiled family discover an abandoned camp site with an old rifle and decide to go back and fight Artie. They get back in the nick of time, just before Marge shares a kiss with Artie, and force him to give them the helicopter keys - homer uses his helicopter flying lesson experience to get them to safety, and Artie is left stranded in his research facility, singing to himself (pick some cheesy love / loneliness song for pop culture reference) as a huskie in a cage collapses and starts exploding into weird tentacles in a reference to "The Thing". Lisa terminates her subscription to Science Fan magazine, and homer realises he left his lottery ticket behind. The final scene is of the penguin and the polar bear fighting over it and tearing it to shreds.

Bart loses his virginity to Milhouse's mom. The Simpsons go to Estonia. Milhouse keeps talking about cucking for some goddamn reason. (Different episode from Bart loving his mom, and unrelated) Bart or Lisa gets hooked on World of Itchy and Scratchy. Homer molests one of the Simpsons children. This never gets resolved during the episode and never comes up again. Homer starts an embroidery business. The Simpsons go to Gabon. Ned Flanders becomes Jewish for an episode for some goddamn reason. Homer gets a job as an underwriter for an investment firm. Patty or Selma marries Sideshow Cecil. Santa's Little Helper won't stop making GBS threads everywhere. Marge writes a novel thinly based on her home life. The Simpsons go to Newfoundland. George W Bush moves in next door to the Simpsons. Lisa tries out the bassoon. The Simpsons go to Dayton, Ohio.

Mark my words: they will unwittingly copy, word for word, the story of an existing Simpsons episode. No one on the staff will notice, the voice actors won't notice they're speaking the exact same lines they spoke years ago, and no one watching at home will notice because anyone who remembers the heyday of the Simpsons wouldn't be caught dead watching it now. At this point, The Simpsons will have reached its final stage... the beginning of the Dark Times.

Lisa has a crush on a girl at school. She talks to Marge about it but she doesn't say the gender of the crush so Marge encourages her to tell her crush how she feels. Turns out Ellen (real-life lesbian talk show host/celebrity who is guest starring this episode) has moved into the same house across the street that George Bush Sr. moved into. Bart makes some joke about all that house has been empty ever since Bush left but Homer says something about not remembering that and a laugh track comes on. The girl Lisa has a crush on turns out to be Ellen's daughter. Marge invites over her house for like coffee or some gay poo poo. Ellen is at the Simpson House and Ellen says some dumb poo poo about the decorations in the house or something. Lisa comes down and just open mouth kisses the daughter in front of both Moms. Marge pulls her off of the daughter & forbids Lisa to see Ellen's daughter again and kicks Ellen out cause she didn't know she was a lesbian even though she watched Ellen's show all the time. The B-Plot is Homer kills himself. Lisa is a lesbian forever after this episode.

Milhouse introduces Bart to anime and he starts watching tons of it. Distraught, Homer keeps trying to kill himself in various ways, but keeps failing due to his sheer idiocy. Lisa tests out of a shitload of courses and begins taking courses at a community college in the B plot, which ends up being completely uninteresting.

Homer does a dumb thing and a person dies as a result. Bart helps him cover up the accident but the truth gets to him and causes him to crack. Bart's deteriorating mental health causes a rift in the relationship between Homer and Marge, as Homer insists everything is fine while Marge freaks out, leading to their divorce and Marge's chemical dependency. Lisa doesn't take the divorce well. Her grades begin to slip and she eventually drops out of school. Maggie is still a baby but she does a dance and dresses up like a whore because it's modern Simpsons. Also that's just the b story and the main story is about one of the dumb fourth string characters dredged up from when Simpsons was good doing a thing that eats up time. burritolingus fucked around with this message at 11:03 on Dec 30, 2014 |

Guest starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Shia LeBeouf as himself. LeBeouf rescues Homer from drowning and gives him mouth to mouth. To Marge's dismay, Homer quits his job to open a website called Homerworthy, steadily producing clickbait articles for circulation on social media sites. His efforts are largely ignored until his article "13 Things You Didn't Know About Krusty" turns out to be a smash-hit and goes viral, earning him steady ad revenues and placating Marge. Shortly after, traffic plummets - it turns out the more popular rival site ComicBookable has reproduced the content there without attributing a source, robbing him of clickthroughs. Marge urges Homer to seek legal advice, but an angry Professor Frink arrives at the Simpsons household with the Blue-Haired Lawyer - the article was stolen from his personal blog! B-Story: Bart is trapped in a fence.

A now middle-class Herb Powell1, 2 invites Homer to the Springfield Auto Show3, now being held at the re-purposed Springfield Knowledgeum4. While Homer is at first excited, an awkward dinner with a passive-aggressive Herb at the Sit-N-Rotate Restaurant5 leaves Homer feeling like it was a mistake to reunite after so long. Marge reassures Homer that Herb wouldn't have invited Homer to the auto show if he didn't want to reconcile6. A hesitant Homer visits the auto show and finds himself at a car auction, where the original The Homer prototype7 sells for $1,000,0008. After the auction, Herb hugs Homer and thanks him, then remarks "Who would have thought the car that ruined me would make me rich again? I forgive you, Homer." Homer is pleased with this and they part ways amicably. He makes a short call to Marge to tell her she was right, abut that he's had enough of cars for one day. The episode concludes with Homer walking away from the Knowledgeum looking content. In the parking lot, we see The Homer being loaded onto a truck with a dozen other classic and super cars, with Leno looking very pleased. The wide shots of Homer walking shift to more claustrophobic, close-up shots of him passing stores. The music fades out and the tone shifts, but Homer still looks content. He stops in front of the Pawn Shop9 and sees a used Baby Translator in the window, with a surprisingly high price tag considering its age and condition. The camera holds for a beat too long. Homer begins to connect the dots10: Herb invited him into his life. Herb demanded he design The Homer. The implausibility that it was The Homer and only The Homer that bankrupted Powell Motors. The piss-poor ROI for investing in the baby translator. Herb made millions and he got a massage chair. Herb went broke again after that. The camera pans back to show a now stone-faced Homer, who has finally realized Herb's problems were never his fault despite years of guilt. Herb ruined his own life on more that one occasion, but blamed Homer to avoid taking responsibility. And, once again, Herb is now rich while Homer is living paycheck to paycheck. The final shot is Homer silently walking in to Moe's. --- 1. Herb Powell is voiced by Hank Azaria, as DeVito has declined to return. 2. Episode reference: "The Changing of the Guardian" 3.
