I dunno I thought 2014 was a year for a lot of overrated poo poo and not that much high points. but the actually ones i enjoyed: Fun: The Raid 2 The Guest Nightcrawler Gone Girl Edge of Tomorrow 22 Jump Street X-Men Days of Past Present Future Night Snowpiercer (almost didnt make it) Stupidly overrated/hyped and pretty mediocre to below average: Guardians of the Galaxy Winter Soldier Godzilla Dawn of the Planet of the Rapes LEGO Movie that was all i saw since i usually already filter out a lot of the bad stuff to begin with but i still fall for the occasional hyped movie thats not very good (like guardians)

Didn't see many new movies this year, but I might see Interstellar tomorrow. I only saw The Giver and Captain America 2. Best movies I saw for the first time this year, new and old, are Kurosawa's High and Low, Pierre Etaix's The Suitor, and Robert Downey's Putney Swope. Also, I watched three whole Louis Feiulliade serials (Fantomas, Les vampires, and Judex) which were great and every surviving Georges Melies film. I watched a lot of really stupid movies in 2014 but Winter's Tale starring Lucky the Leprechaun and Gladiator was by far the biggest loaf of poo poo They put the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in that movie as Satan and yet it somehow wasn't among the most retarded five decisions they made while making the movie Don Tacorleone posted:There's a Nightcrawler movie? Like overall, 2014 was just a really good year at the movies, I feel like. We got a crop of great Summer movies, even the January writeoffs had good stuff like Noah, the Fall season thrillers were all great..... versus 2013 where I feel the strongest offerings were basically The Wolverine and 2Gunz.
