Hello, Creature! Do You Despise Goat Hating Fascists? So Do We! Join Us at Paradise Lost!

Sebastian
Sebastian had a love-hate relationship with the jungle. On one hand, it was full of bugs, and mosquitoes, and it was hotter than a foundry, and not just that, but when you were sweating in a foundry, your sweat had somewhere to go; not so here, as the jungle was already moist and wet and the sweat would sometimes literally drip from his eyebrows, and he felt sticky and slimy and itchy all over, and he stank worse than... well, worse than anything he'd ever cooked up by accident in his lab, at least.
on the other hand...
It was a jungle, and he was claiming it and its wonders in the name of SCIENCE! Mankind and civilization would advance from these expeditions, of that he was sure - already, the very fabric of time had become malleable in his hands, and who knew what wonders this hidden temple held? Not only that, but danger lurked behind every leaf and every tree! and so, as he went along and collected samples of intresting plants and flowers and the small, glowing rocks that he sometimes saw at the feet of the trees, he kept an eye out, though it was not, perhaps, a very observant eye

Naal spent the intial part of the journey openly staring at Lady Katherine. A few times he moved as if to speak and then would make a clumsy attempt to hide his intention and move back away with a cough or rub of his neck. Each time he would end up mumbling at his sword a short while later, words to the effect of "Shut up" and "I'll do it when I'm ready."

Beyond his preoccupation with the lady, he would occasionally squint off and examine their surroundings.

Naal knew they were there before he even heard them. It was only a matter of time before they encountered natives of a more hungry variety. The gatorman posse sprung from the thick riverbank reeds, each the size of an ogrun and twice as ugly. Criss-crossed ritual scars divided that savages' scaly hide, and their stinking, hardened hide vests were festooned with fetishes and bone talismans. Each carried a great axe of sharpened obsidian stone, and hunting spears of fire-blackened wood hung from their backs. Behind the warriors a smaller gatorman stalked, wearing a large headdress of blood red feathers, surrounded by a sickly yellow-green glow of arcana. There weren't many of them, but they looked like vicious warriors, and the ground here was treacherous...

Warjack Attacks, Charging Spear + Open Fist + Focus Spear (hit locations at end): 2d6+7 16 3d6+13 18 2d6+7 15 2d6+9 21 2d6+7 11 3d6+13 23...

Small tactical note: Im using smalls to hold this flank for as long as possible, I am expecting him to get hit hard and possibly wrecked here but delaying the extra combatants long enough for you guys to clear the north flank is worth it.

(Naal the Doom Reaver)
(Mighty Points 1 Feat Points 3)
(Def 11 Arm 18 (+3 for Feat Invulnerable))

A howl of pain escapes Naal's lips as the two gatormen both land blows that cut into his flesh. Anticipating their attack a second two late he was only able to jerk back somewhat from both blows to lessen their deadliness.

He made a small promise to himself that it would be the last time he ever tried to take a captive even if that interesting Cygnar woman requested it. Pain or not, this was Naal's element and being surrounded on all sides after falling into a trap gave him a perverse thrill.

The sword whispered suggestions of foul deeds to him on a daily, no, hourly basis and he was able to resist. But in times like these...he didn't have to.

(Feat for Heroic Dodge to cut Gatormen Blue-Green's damage from 8 to 4.)

Sebastian
Arm/def 11/13
Feat Points3
Sebastian would not be trapped in the middle by some half-brain ignorant savages! With a scream, Sebastian drew the javelin out of his leg and cauterized the wound with a touch, creating a small, focused, and incredibly hot fire to seal the wound. Then, he drew his last offensive grenade, another smoke bomb, and ran towards the new enemy, pulling the pin as he ran and using the momentrum of his charge to give his throw force, aiming for the ground right in front of the leader of the savages who though they could trap him and his companions! He came to a halt just behind the gobber, and with a cry of defiance, a surge of magic and a rude gesture, he threw up a wall of fire in front of them to make sure they would not be charged by the remaining beasts.

Actions and rolls:
Feat point: Walk it off: 1d3+1 2
Movement: Moving to just behind biggie
Quick action: draw grenade
Free quick action: Ready grenade
Attack+ (Feat point): Throw grenade (using feat point if i fail): 2d6+6 14

[Gatormen Red-Orange and Red-Purple are slaughtered! Biggy gains 2 Feat Points!]

:d:Music:d:

Biggy grunted through the pain. It was funny. You'd really think that a giant poisoned spear sticking out of your chest would hurt a lot more than what the gobber was actually experiencing. Maybe he was just giddy from blood loss and the prospect of crushing all the Morrow-damned gatormen those bastard!

[Gatorman Bokor spends a Feat point to Shrug it Off! Gatorman Bokor regains 4 Vitality Points! Gatorman Bokor casts Death Field! [Gatorman Warchief attacks Smalls! Attack 12, 12. Both miss!]
[Gatorman Red-Pink charges Smalls! Attack 10, 13. Power 21. Smalls suffers 7 damage to Track 6!]

Insane courage carrying them even through their losses, the gatorman savaged the noble adventurers with brutal axe and fang. Even with their natural advantages, the civilized forces were slowly pushed back by the fury of the reptilian natives.

[Swags: Forgot to let you know last time, but the Gatorman Bokor is casting in something that sounds disturbingly similar to Old Shyr]

Hyrule Eyvreyn
DEF: 14 (+4 with concealment). ARM: 10 (+3 vs. blast, cold, corrosion, fire). FEAT: 3/3.
Current: I was an assassin once, you know.

His unncanny awareness quickly alerts Hyrule to the fact that this is just not going well. He could tell that by the sheer number of gators crawling out of the woodwork (wetwork?) while his friends continued to suffer blow after blow after blow. Realizing that his usual tactics of slowing the enemy down so that his friends might quickly dispatch them won't be the most efficient way of doing things, Hyrule ops instead to keep a bola spinning in his left hand while his right withdraws the long, jagged dagger he keeps at his belt. He twists, exhales and then inhales a single breath, and bolts toward the gator currently setting its sights on Blythe.

From six feet away, the old elf leaps into the air and drives the full force of his weight into the back of the neck of the gatorman and... well, that just isn't enough. The blade penetrates, but it just doesn't penetrate deep enough to halt the beast. "Mercy of the Eight," he growls out. Switching the bola to his right hand, the elf begins a twisting series of blows using the bola as one might use a flail, hammering the knife deeper and deeper until the lizard suddenly drops. As the lizard slouches to the ground, Hyrule grabs his dagger and rips it back out of the beastman. "He's speaking Old Shyr," Hyrule says, pointing to the bokor. "That's old magic. Powerful." He flicks his wrist, sending the blood spraying off the blade. "If possible, I want him alive for questioning."

Blythe dodges out of the way of much of the attack that comes at him, then watches as the nearby gatormen is brought low by Hyrule. Feeling a new surge of adrenalin he shrugs off his injuries and then rushes the bokor, unleashing a series of blows upon it trying to knock it out so that it can stop aiding the gatormen, and hindering himself and the others in their fight.

Feat Point to Heroic Dodge.
Gain a Feat Point from Hyrule.
Spend another Feat Point to Revitalize because lets not deal with a -2 attack penalty and another wound on yet another track.

Naal's botched strike left him unbalanced, and any skilled warrior knew how to take advantage of that. Naal gazed up just in time to see the Gatorman's sharp stone axe rapidly approaching his neck. It was all the Khadoran could to to avoid a deathblow, catching the full force of the deadly weapon with his chest. He vomited blood, collapsing into the stinking mud. The Bokor unleashed the vengeance of slain Gatormen, the amber souls burning like dragonfire as the slammed into the soft earth like cannon-blasts, the supernatural flame wounding the soul as much as the body. Bubba screamed in pain, a silvery ghostly double nearly ripped from his chest by the foul necromancy. He too collapsed into the marshy ground, nearly catatonic. Blasts of flames erupted from the battle to the south as Sebastian's spells were completed just a moment too late. Biggy looked on in horror as the Gatorman raked his axe across the human's belly, dark bloods spreading across his clothes. Worse, the Gatorman was turning towards him, and the effects of the Blood Willow poison made is clear there would be no running from him. Not as though he would run anyway, since that bastard of a chief had gone and lopped off Smalls' arm, the great green bastard!
