If UZWorm is cool with being the master track for the instrumental stuff, then I'll wait on him to tackle it. That can be used as a reference for instrumental stuff!  Also don't worry if you can't play an instrument well! It's the sum of all parts that makes these things neato! You don't need to carry the whole song on your back. That reminds me actually, in your master track for the last couple of verses you switch the "early on his birthday" lyrics for the "early in the morning" lyrics from the original. Just so the lyrics in my recording can match yours, was that intentional?

On the one hand, I love me a good sea shanty and have some semblance of singing talent. On the other, I am absolutely not drunk enough to sing sea shanties for an LP thread on the internet, and by the time I start to approach that level of drunkenness I'm also going to be mostly unconscious and therefore in no condition to perform. I'm looking forward to hearing the results, though!

He actually entered with a decent Visual Kei song and I kinda hoped it'd make it to the finals but apparently it wasn't generic enough to put forward. Eurovision's weird like that. Eurovision's had its fair share of sea shanties, though. I hope it can serve you as an inspiration in making your own.
